Author Books
Douglas Marques S. Santana is a Brazilian writer and screenwriter with degrees in accounting and physical therapy. He has always cultivated an intense love of reading, with an emphasis on international literature, and also works as a ghostwriter for comic books, animations, films, games, and series.
In addition to collaborating with major publishers, Douglas independently publishes his own works, building a rich repertoire of dark atmospheres, complex characters, and engaging plots that challenge the reader, mixing fantasy, fiction, and horror with sensitivity and intensity.
Throughout his career, his travels and work have earned him many connections and friendships, and he continues to devote himself to writing, always in search of stories that challenge and enchant readers.

To write, for me, is the act of mapping the unknown. I am Douglas Marques, an author and screenwriter passionate about exploring the boundaries between Fantasy, Horror, and Science Fiction. My narrative journey involves crafting epic worlds and developing complex characters, including collaborations within iconic universes such as those at DC Comics.
Whether investigating enigmatic manuscripts or exploring the horror lurking in the shadows of folklore, my goal remains the same: to transport the reader to a place where reality bends and the impossible takes shape. When I’m not at my keyboard, I’m often immersed in mechanics, technology, or expanding the limits of my own creative universe between Canada and Brazil.
